Chanhassen AttorneysWe date our firm’s beginning to 1994, when Richard J. Chadwick, a 20-year senior partner and founding member of . Johnson, & Condon in Edina, Minnesota, moved his practice to our current location in Chanhassen. In 1996, Craig Mertz [Link to Attorney Profiles Page] moved his offices from downtown Minneapolis, where he had been a partner in the firm of Wurst, Pearson, Larson, Underwood and Mertz. The new firm was called Chadwick and Mertz, P.S.C. Lynette Bledsaw joined our firm in 1999, bringing her experience as a partner at the firm of O’Neal O. Wright & Associates, P.C., in Detroit, Michigan. Larry Gansen, Of Counsel, joined the firm in 2000, adding over twenty years experience in the insurance industry. Marcia Rowland, Of Counsel, joined the firm in 2004. Marcia has served as County Attorney for Carver County, Minnesota, acting as chief legal advisor and prosecutor for the county government. She has also been in private practice with law firms in Waconia and Minnetonka. Jay Benson has practiced law in Chanhassen for over 13 years, and merged his practice with Chadwick and Mertz in 2005. Finally, Valorie Chadwick joined the firm as an attorney in 2005 after working at the firm for many years. Among us, we bring more than 130 years of combined legal experience to our current practice, allowing us to provide superior, experienced legal representation for the benefit of our clients.
